GOAL (Global Orphan Aid for Life) is a non-profit organization committed to improving the lives of underprivileged children globally through its family care and full-care programs. The organization’s mission is to end orphanages worldwide and promote family-based care for children in need. GOAL values the importance of family, community, education, health, and sustainability in its approach to child welfare. Its goals include providing safe and nurturing environments for children, supporting their education and health, and empowering their caregivers with the skills and resources they need to provide long-term care.

Program and services

Here’s a list of GOAL’s programs and services:

Orphan Support Program

Provides basic needs such as food, clothing, shelter, and medical care to orphaned children.

Education Program

Supports the education of underprivileged children by providing scholarships, textbooks, uniforms, and other necessary supplies.

Health and Nutrition Program

Ensures the health and well-being of orphaned children by providing access to healthcare, nutritious food, and clean water.

Family Care Model

Places orphaned children in the care of extended family members and provides ongoing support to both the child and the caregiver.

Vocational Training Program

Offers vocational training to older orphaned children and provides them with the necessary skills to secure employment and become self-sufficient.

Horticulture Program

Provides horticulture training and resources to orphaned children and their caregivers to promote sustainable agriculture and food security.

Emergency Relief Program

Provides assistance in the event of natural disasters, conflict, or other emergencies. This includes the distribution of food, shelter, and medical care.

Advocacy and Awareness Program

Raises awareness about the needs of orphaned children and advocates for their rights at the local, national, and international levels.

Scholarship Program

Education Program

The program not only empowered me financially but also helped me gain confidence and self-esteem. I am now a proud business owner and a role model for other women in my community."
